By the time both Satyajit and Pamela booked their new home, they realised that they are still one step away from achieving their dream living space. Their idea of a new home was not limited to a new address – they wanted a place that is a unique blend of style, functionality, class and perfectly showcases their personality.
Initially, they were overwhelmed by the number of interior designers in Bangalore. However, when they entered our Experience Centre at HSR layout, they loved the design and layout of each room. From that moment on, there was no turning back. A new chapter began as they embarked on this journey with Asense Interiors.
Let us have a look at some of the most stunning design elements that delighted our clients.
The home interior design of a home starts to amaze us just as we enter the place. Since, the house had a large common area, it accommodated both the dining and the living room divided by a partition. The wooden partition with small panels adds to the beauty of the living room.
Since our clients wanted a fusion of style and elegance for their living room interior design, we went ahead with a design that had a touch of minimalism. Both the design and the choice colour for the sofa set and the centre table is evident of that. Since there was a way for the natural light to come in, our designers went with two sets of curtains – one translucent for the daytime and other lighter-shade opaque for nighttime.
Since Satyajit and Pamela were not very expressive about their living room design preferences, our home interior experts engaged with them to discuss various design options that would best suit their personality. The minimalist touch to the TV unit design that provided a simple yet elegant look to the living space was a result of that.
In addition, the open shelf rack beside the TV unit for displaying décor items and painting on the opposite wall together infused a soothing touch to the area. Even though the dining area wall had a flowery-designed wallpaper along with a painting on the adjacent wall, their light shade merged perfectly with the overall space.
Just like the wall and seating area, the false ceiling with its clean lines and recessed lighting also bestowed a minimalist appearance to the room. The harmony of these designs blended so well that even a premium quality crystal chandelier seemed to be an integral part of the false ceiling design. The neutral colour palette for the ceiling matched completely with the lighting. The minimal furniture in the dining area and the hanging lights over it further underscored the innocence and classy look of the space.
Since there were three bedrooms, we needed to design them in such a way that all of them had unique styles.
While all three bedrooms had a touch of minimalism, the master bedroom had some unique design elements, especially with a stunning wardrobe design. The sliding doors of the wardrobes with laminate design not only maximised the space utilisation of the room but also provided a touch of sophistication to the room. Moreover, the cushioned headboard and the dressing unit enhanced the functionality and luxury outlook of the space. Additionally, the monochromatic colours and uniform cove lighting create a calming ambience in the bedroom interior design.
With a sliding wardrobe design, cushioned-headboard, dressing unit and optimum lighting, both the other bedrooms offered a seamless blend of modern aesthetics and practical features, ensuring supreme comfort, maximum functionality and amazing design. The easy access of natural light into bedrooms also made them suitable for guests who want to relax and calm.
Our client wanted a separate room that would be a home office, along with having a study/work space in all the bedrooms. We understand the need for complete focus when working. So, the design of the home office as well as the work space in the bedroom was aligned to match their office design, creating a professional environment that minimises distraction and enhances focus. Moreover, the separate home-office space also had a wall-mounted cabinet with open shelves and closed compartments to provide ample storage for office items.
Our client wanted a kitchen that could maximise the space utilisation while also providing a clean and uncluttered look. In addition, they wanted the kitchen interior design and colour to blend with their home interiors.
Our home interior experts used the colour combination of grey and white to provide a sleek and modern look to the modular kitchen design. The white laminate finish of the upper cabinets seamlessly complemented the white quartz countertops to provide a touch of sophistication to the cooking area while making the surfaces easy to clean. Besides the style, the functionality, especially the storage of this kitchen design, was amplified by incorporating upper and lower cabinets.
The harmonious combination of under-cabinet task lighting and recessed lighting augmented the exquisiteness of the modular kitchen design. Moreover, the warm and neutral tone of the floor tiles further coupled with shiny wall tiles and wall-mounted open shelves to display greenery amplified the overall look and feel of the kitchen.
